Is there mission driving your creative journey?

The particular mission that is driving my creative journey is wanting to be the difference maker within the music industry. I am constantly looking up to the ones who paved the musical way for myself. I love how Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, many record executives have set the ton e and pace for creatives such as myself. I see myself creating a similar impact one day at a time. My mission is to help people achieve their dreams. I want to become a great record executive in the future.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, getting to where I am now has not been easy. The struggles that I went through developed my character. The biggest struggle that I have been through and still struggle with is accepting that sometimes I will be tasked more than others because people can see the potential in me to rise to the occasion. Back then, it would bother me that I was being tasked with more responsibility than others. I would be happy but jaded because with great work comes great responsibility. I learned to advocate for myself and understand how to manage what was being tasked of me so I could execute properly.

The main thing that sets me apart from anybody else who is in similar lanes as I am is my unwavering faith in my purpose in life and my determination to complete my goals. I believe in my work ethic and my ability to face any challenge that comes my way. I am so proud of my personal growth and how my business is growing organically. The journey of getting to where I am has been a thrilling curvy road. I have always loved music and the way it’s made me feel. It wasn’t until a few years ago I truly learned that I could make a career out of it. This goal of having a career in music always felt distant and unreachable. It wasn’t until my mentor challenged me and encouraged me to permit myself to bet on myself. This journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been a well worth experience. I have overcome challenges by accepting these as an opportunity to grow. I’ve learned to be more vulnerable and gracious to myself. It is okay if I don’t have all the answers or solutions. Life is about exploration. I want the world to know that anything is truly possible when you try and put yourself out there. My brand would not be here if I didn’t bet on myself to bring it to fruition.
